Q - What do you find most interesting/rewarding about your work? What’s the most challenging? “The most interesting thing is troubleshooting. I like to figure things out but the most challenging part is having limited access or not being able to fully see what the customer is doing. Sometimes they give you the wrong information which could lead you to a different conclusion.”

Q - Looking back, is this where you thought you’d be professionally? Was it always your goal to be in this position? “I would say I more or less had no idea what the software world was like when I first joined. It took me about 2 years to really understand the landscape including the various roles, products, contract structures, different industries, the terminology, etc. I would say things actually turned out to be better than expected for me. I thought it would be a lot harder to get recognition and be appreciated. I enjoy my role and plan to be at the individual contributor level for a while.”
